EPSON EMP TW2000 Projector Review
True HD The Epson EMP TW 2000 - Home Cinema Projector
..from the MAKERS of the 1080 HD LCD all other HD LCD projectors use!

The TW2000 (better model than the budget TW3000) is still available in limited numbers. This is a better value buy than the new more expensive TW4000. We're not saying it's as good as the TW4000 (most people won't be able to spot the difference) however you'll never find a bad word about it. There has never been talk about "Focus Shift/Drift" or any other inherent problem, it's almost bullet proof.
The TW2000 also comes with a full 3 year warranty that includes the lamp!

The rainbow effect that may be seen only on 1-chip sequential color projection systems is the result of a rotating color wheel that spins at a rapid speed and displays colors sequentially. Viewers who perceive this blurring or separating of colors may find it annoying and distracting. Projectors powered by 3LCD technology have 3-chips and a solid state optical design so there is no color breakup or rainbow effect. |More about DLP rainbows|

Smooth, seamless color combined with an unparalleled grayscale range delivers incredible detail to every image displayed by a 3LCD projector. Grayscale is the shades of gray (from black to white) required for greater image depth and detail; it allows greater variation in shadows and brings superior accuracy to color, creating a jaw-dropping, true-to-life visual experience.
LCD technology surrounds us – HDTVs, PDAs, mobile phones, monitors, and more. With over **50 million 3LCD chips shipped worldwide for projection, this powerful and road-tested technology is the optimal way to achieve the sharpest and most beautiful images.
-- Why do you think brands like Mitsubishi who were mostly DLP are now using the Epson LCD?
TW2000 Advantages over the TW3000:
The Epson TW2000 is still on top (of the TW3000) not only in terms of specifications but looks also. The bottom projector (TW3000) is the ugly ducking! Newer, but you'd never know it from the design or lower specifications. It wasn't fair to put them in the same photo!
